A gentle introduction to grooming for happy, confident pups.

Starting your puppy’s grooming journey early helps build a lifetime of positive salon experiences. At Casa Blue, our Puppy University Package is made up of four fun, confidence building sessions designed to introduce your pup to the sights, sounds, and sensations of grooming. All in a calm, supportive environment.

Each session is tailored to your puppy’s comfort and pace, using positive reinforcement, play, and trust-building to create stress-free grooming memories from the very beginning.

What’s Included:

Session 1 – First Impressions
A short, friendly visit to gently introduce your puppy to the grooming studio.
They’ll explore the space, meet me (their groomer!), and get familiar with tools like brushes, combs, dryers, and clippers, no pressure, just play!
This session is full of treats, cuddles, and curious sniffing around. It’s also the perfect opportunity for you to ask any questions and for your pup to start building trust in a calm and loving environment.

Session 2 – Bath Time Basics
In this session, we gently introduce your puppy to the bath and blow-dry process. If your pup is confident and relaxed, we may complete a light hygiene tidy.
We’ll also help them get used to standing on the grooming table and spending short moments in the bath. There are plenty of play breaks and rewards along the way always at your puppy’s pace.

Session 3 – Mini Groom Introduction
This visit includes a second soothing bath and blow-dry, along with a mini groom: gentle brushing, a pawdicure, hygiene tidy, and light shaping around the face.
We’ll begin gently introducing clippers using sound and vibration desensitisation techniques to help your pup feel safe and comfortable with the grooming process.

Session 4 – Graduation Day
If your puppy is happy with everything so far, we wrap up their Puppy University journey with a gentle full groom. This includes a bath, blow-dry, full tidy, and if appropriate their first light haircut.
And of course, we make it special! Your pup will graduate with:
