About Us

Hey there !
I’m Shey, proud dog mum to a fluffy Cockapoo named Blue. He’s the heart and soul of everything I do, and the inspiration behind both the name and the face of Casa Blue.

“Casa” means home in Spanish (yep, I’m originally from Spain!) and honestly, that’s exactly what Blue is to me. That feeling of calm, safety, and love is the vibe I wanted to bring into my little grooming studio.

I love building real, lasting bonds with every dog I meet. Watching them strut in with more confidence each visit, knowing they’re in their happy place, is the best part of my job. But getting to that level of trust takes time and that’s something I fully respect.

Every pup is different. Some are excited to hop on the table and dive straight into their spa day. Others need a bit of time to sniff around, settle in, and feel safe first.
That’s why your dog gets calm, unhurried, one-on-one time with me so we can go entirely at their pace.

Yes, it might take a little longer but it’s always gentle, always worth it, and always with your pup’s wellbeing at heart

Casa Blue's Puppy University

A gentle introduction to grooming for happy, confident pups.

Starting your puppy’s grooming journey early helps build a lifetime of positive salon experiences. At Casa Blue, our Puppy University Package is made up of four fun, confidence building sessions designed to introduce your pup to the sights, sounds, and sensations of grooming. All in a calm, supportive environment.

Each session is tailored to your puppy’s comfort and pace, using positive reinforcement, play, and trust-building to create stress-free grooming memories from the very beginning.

What’s Included:

Session 1 – First Impressions
A short, friendly visit to gently introduce your puppy to the grooming studio.
They’ll explore the space, meet me (their groomer!), and get familiar with tools like brushes, combs, dryers, and clippers, no pressure, just play!
This session is full of treats, cuddles, and curious sniffing around. It’s also the perfect opportunity for you to ask any questions and for your pup to start building trust in a calm and loving environment.

Session 2 – Bath Time Basics
In this session, we gently introduce your puppy to the bath and blow-dry process. If your pup is confident and relaxed, we may complete a light hygiene tidy.
We’ll also help them get used to standing on the grooming table and spending short moments in the bath. There are plenty of play breaks and rewards along the way always at your puppy’s pace.

Session 3 – Mini Groom Introduction
This visit includes a second soothing bath and blow-dry, along with a mini groom: gentle brushing, a pawdicure, hygiene tidy, and light shaping around the face.
We’ll begin gently introducing clippers using sound and vibration desensitisation techniques to help your pup feel safe and comfortable with the grooming process.

Session 4 – Graduation Day
If your puppy is happy with everything so far, we wrap up their Puppy University journey with a gentle full groom. This includes a bath, blow-dry, full tidy, and if appropriate their first light haircut.
And of course, we make it special!
Your pup will graduate with:

The Puppy University is a pre-paid package and includes all four sessions at a discounted rate (we will reach out once you have completed your booking to establish which package your pup falls into and then send you a payment link thereafter).

My boy Ken went to Casa Blue yesterday and what a fantastic job Shey did. She fit us in at 7am in the morning due to the hot weather we have been having and gave him a full groom which included a good de shed (two huge piles of hair!). When I arrived to pick him up Shey and Ken were playing ball and his coat looked absolutely amazing so clean and shiny! Then before we left Ken and Blue had a little play together.
